Our oval lampshades are available in two standard sizes and a choice of fittings for ceiling lights, table lamps and floor lamps. Their reduced depth makes them particularly suitable for narrower surfaces and more compact spaces, while still providing the visual impact of a generously sized lampshade.

SIZE GUIDE - WIDTH X DEPTH X HEIGHT

As the shape is oval rather than round, please check both the width and depth carefully before choosing your size.

30cm oval lampshade

• Width: 30cm (12")

Ideal for bedside lamps, smaller table lamps and compact spaces where a round lampshade might project too far.

40cm oval lampshade

• Width: 40cm (16")
  
• Depth: 30cm (12")

Well suited to larger table lamps, floor lamps and ceiling pendants. Its oval shape provides a generous width with less projection than a comparable round lampshade.

Seam position

As standard, the seam is positioned on the right-hand side of the lampshade when viewed from the front. If a left-hand seam would better suit where your lampshade will be placed, please contact us after ordering and before production begins.

Custom sizes. Custom sizes are also available. Please contact us if you need an oval lampshade made to specific dimensions for your lamp or space.

DELIVERY

Please allow approximately 1 - 4 weeks for your lampshade to be handmade before dispatch.

Every lampshade is carefully handmade to order in our UK studio and packaged with great care to help ensure a safe journey to your home.

All lampshades are wrapped in protective tissue paper and securely packed in sturdy double-wall boxes designed to protect the shade during transit. We also work with trusted delivery partners to ensure your order arrives safely and professionally.

UK delivery

Free UK delivery is included.

Orders are shipped via Royal Mail or ParcelForce using a tracked 1–2 working day delivery service once dispatched.

Please note that we are currently unable to ship to Northern Ireland.

USA delivery

Delivery to the USA is available and added at checkout, a flat rate applies regardless of the lampshade size.

US orders are shipped via ParcelForce using a tracked 2–5 working day delivery service.

For USA orders, customs charges are pre-paid at checkout, helping to avoid unexpected customs fees on delivery.

Returns

This lampshade is part of our Home Collection and can be returned.

We understand that sometimes a lampshade may look different in your home once styled within your space. If you decide it is not quite right for your interiors, you are welcome to request a return within 14 days of delivery.

Once your return request has been approved, you will have a further 14 days to send the lampshade back to us.

Return conditions

To be eligible for a refund, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. The lampshade must be returned within the following 14 days:

• in unused and immaculate condition
• in its original packaging
• with a copy of your invoice or order details
  

Please note that return postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Refunds are issued once the lampshade has been safely returned and inspected. Original delivery charges are non-refundable.

Returns outside the standard return window

If you contact us outside the 14-day return period, or the lampshade is posted back later than the agreed return timeframe, we may — at our discretion — offer a credit note instead of a refund.

Unfortunately, return requests cannot be accepted beyond 30 days from delivery.

Safety

Our lampshades are handmade using materials specifically designed for professional lampshade making and compliant with relevant British lighting safety standards.

For safety and longevity, we recommend using LED bulbs.

Care

To keep your lampshade looking its best, gently dust with a soft dry cloth. A lint brush for clothes bay be used. Avoid using water or cleaning products directly on the fabric or lining.
