Refund policy


Home Collection Lampshades (UK & USA customers)

You may return/exchange any lampshade from the Home Collection.

Please contact us within 14 days of delivery to request a return, you will then have another 14 days to actually send the item back.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition you received it and in its original packaging. You’ll also need a copy of the invoice.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please note, buyers are responsible for loss or any damage in transit. For this reason, we strongly recommend posting via a tracked and insured service. You may choose your preferred courier, although we strongly recommend Royal Mail (UK customers).

USA customers: postage costs to post the lampshade to the USA will not be refunded.

If you request a return beyond 14 days from delivery we will at our discretion (on a case by case basis) issue a credit note, instead of a refund.

If you contact us to request a refund, but fail to post back the lampshade within 14 days, we will at our discretion (on a case by case basis) issue a credit note, instead of a refund. 

Refund requests are not accepted beyond 30 days of delivery.

Luxury Collection Lampshades (UK Customers)

After purchasing your lampshade from the Luxury Collection, we will post within 2 working days fabric samples to evaluate colours and pattern. If for any reason you are not happy about the fabrics, please contact us within 7 calendar days of your order date.

Lampshades from the Luxury Collection can only be refunded or exchanged within 7 calendar days of ordering.

On the 8th calendar day, work on your luxury lampshade will start, which involves printing the fabric specifically for your order. Due to the bespoke nature of these lampshades, unfortunately, refund/exchange requests cannot be accepted once work has started. 


Luxury Collection Lampshades (USA Customers)

Lampshades from the Luxury Collection are non refundable and non exchangeable. Please contact us within 7 calendar days to request a samples. We will otherwise start work on your lampshade, following that the order cannot be amended.

 

Home Collection & Luxury Collection Cushions

Cushions are all non refundable and non exchangeable.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain items cannot be returned, such as:

- Bespoke lampshades

- Luxury Collection lampshades (as per above)

- Cushions

- Sale lampshades

- Gift cards

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.

In the unlikely event the item was damaged in transit, unfortunately we will not be in the position to refund.

If the return is approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at hello@adorodecor.com.


Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 3 days if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can quickly assist you to ensure a replacement is arranged as soon as possible.


Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to contact us to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Please contact us within 14 days from delivery if you wish to exchange your item.
